Sioux City, Iowa – Several Sioux City Community School District students have been selected for state music festivals.
District students in high school and middle school will be attending the Iowa High School Music Association’s 2025 All-State Music Festival, the Iowa Choral Directors Association’s OPUS Honor Choir, and the Iowa String Teachers Association’s Junior Honors Orchestra. The festivals will be held November 20-22 on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
Among the students selected are Angelica Jones and Julia Person. They have been selected to the All-State Music Festival for the fourth year, putting both students in the top one percent of Iowa high school musicians.
